ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – Children had the opportunity to learn about bike safety Tuesday.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety and the Ashwaubenon School District hosted a ‘bike rodeo’ at Village Hall.
Public Safety Chief Eric Dunning notes there was a course for the children to ride.
“There’s a lot of places that don’t have sidewalks and don’t have the area to do it and they learn the long way and the hard way and here is a controlled environment that they’re gonna get one-on-one interaction with instructors and have fun with kids their own age.”
Kids were also able to get fitted for bicycle helmets.
