43 year old Liz Johnson of Illinois, already inducted into the United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame, added another title to her resume by winning the Professional Women’s Bowling Association Go Bowling Championship at the Ashwaubenon Lanes on Sunday.
Johnson rolled strikes in five of her last six frames to beat Kelly Kulik 228-205 in the title match. The victory was Johnson’s 9th major championship and earned the Hall of Famer a $20,000.00 first prize check.
