ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – Nearly 40,000 fans are getting ready to rock out to the music of living legend Billy Joel this Saturday night.
Green Bay Police Commander Paul Ebel says all security measures at Lambeau Field are ready to go. However, they don’t expect it to be as busy past concerts.
“It’s a little bit different than what the Kenny Chesney concert that we had. We don’t expect it to be as busy. Billy Joel certainly has a different demographic that will come and see him,” said Ebel.
There will be between 50-100 officers on hand.
Ebel says security restrictions will the same a Packers game.
“We want to make sure their experience at Lambeau Field is fun and it’s entertaining and we don’t want people to get out of hand,” explained Ebel.
Other agencies involved in security measures include Ashwaubenon Public Safety, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
The show starts at 8 p.m.
