VANDENBROEK, WI (WTAQ) – A 34-year-old man has died in an Outagamie County traffic crash.
Sheriff’s officials were called to an accident on I-41 northbound, north of Rose Hill Road, in the Town of Vandenbroek at 10:23 pm Friday.
Investigators say the man was northbound on his motorcycle when he struck the rear of an enclosed utility trailer being towed by a northbound van.
The motorcycle rolled several times before coming to rest in the median.
The man was pronounced dead on scene, while the van’s 18-year-old driver from Abrams and 17-year-old passenger from Little Suamico were both uninjured.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
An investigation is ongoing.
