OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A 21-year-old Oshkosh man has been accused of convincing two underage girls to send him nude photographs.
Kai Funches faces eight felony counts: two apiece of Child Enticement, Possession of Child Pornography, Using a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime, and Child Sexual Exploitation.
Funches reportedly connected with the minors through social media, sending them sexually-explicit messages.
After receiving the inappropriate images from the 12-year-old and 15-year-old, he then allegedly asked them to meet up.
Officers were tipped to the incident by one of the girls’ parents, who was concerned about the well-being of their daughter and her friends.
Funches is scheduled to appear in an Outagamie County courtroom Thursday afternoon.
