MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – A second teen tied to bringing a gun and ammunition into a Manitowoc school last month has been sentenced.
The student was given one year of court ordered supervision Friday for the Wilson Junior High School incident.
His co-actor received the same sentence earlier this week.
Since the guilty parties are juveniles, their names can not be released.
Students tipped school administrators that the boys brought the gun and ammunition into school, and police were notified.
Upon arrival, the officers found a loaded revolver in one boy’s backpack and ammunition in the other boy’s bag.
The two students told police they were protecting themselves from another group at school.
Nobody was harmed in the incident.
