ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ) – Two people were injured in an Allouez house fire that displaced four people Sunday morning.
Green Bay Metro Fire Department crews responded to 821 Karl Street at 10:53 am.
Officials say the blaze started in the basement of the single family, one-story home.
The house was filled with smoke when crews arrived on scene. The fire was quickly extinguished and smoke was vented from the building.
A dehumidifier is being blamed for the fire.
One person was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Damage is estimated at $8,000.
