APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Families living in Northeast Wisconsin gathered Sunday in Appleton for the “Go Valley Kids Family Fun Expo.”
“Go Valley Kids” is a website which highlights events and community resources for parents.
According to the website founders, around 14,000 people follow the site.
The goals, to bring more information to families in the area.
The event was held at Appleton North High School.
Amanda Chavez, website founder of Go Valley Kids, says it’s a great tool for families new to the area.
“There’s a lot of transplants in the area and there’s a lot of great community resources that people don’t know about… just to connect with our people in the area.. other parents”
The expo also offered activities for children.
A magic show, bounce houses and dance classes were held during the afternoon.
