OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Two Waupaca teens were charged Wednesday with two counts each of making terrorist threats calls involving Oshkosh’s high schools.
18-year-old Andrew Moore and 17-year-old Dylan Bird are scheduled to make initial appearances in Winnebago County Circuit Court.
If convicted, each count carries a maximum penalty of 3 years, 6 months in prison.
Oshkosh North and West high schools were closed Thursday.
Last week, police said there were two days of phone calls to the Waupaca County 9-1-1 system making “unconfirmed threats.”
A 15-year-old was also arrested and referred to juvenile authorities.
