GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – It’s hard to imagine a family member here one minute and then gone the next.
In the latest episode of WTAQ’s Green Bay Crime, police continue to look for clues into what happened to 40-year-old Dawn Mohn, who went missing August 21, 2000 after visiting a bar on the city’s west side.
Investigations Commander Jim Runge explains what happened that night.
“There was an apartment above the bar that some people lived and she was associated with that. She was there for a corn roast one night…after that she disappeared and has not been seen since.”
Shortly after she went missing, individuals close to her were interviewed.
“The boyfriend and others she’d been associated with had been talked to, search warrants had been done, a property outside of Green Bay had been searched to no avail,” said Runge.
The department hasn’t had a lead in the case although it’s reviewed by detectives on a monthly basis.
“We have several missing people, just like they fell off the face of the earth,” Runge said.
