ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – Business is picking up at one area ticket distributor after the Green and Gold’s victory on Sunday.
Folks are interested in tickets for the NFC Championship game in Atlanta, Georgia on Januray 22nd.
Travis Loftus, manager of Ticket King in Ashwaubenon, says online ticket sales began increasing after the Pack’s victory Sunday. Good news, He doesn’t expect ticket prices to rise too much higher than they already are.
“To be honest, I think the price, if anything, might come down a little bit later in the week. If I was a buyer, I’d probably pull the trigger anytime between now and Thursday.”
Tickets are selling anywhere from $350 for upper level end zone seats, all the way to $800 for lower level seats around the 30 yard line.
Loftus says it’s not too soon to start thinking about the Super Bowl.
“We’ve actually had some season ticket holders that won the lottery, to be put in with the Super Bowl drawing. We’ve been doing contracts with them if the Packers would go that far to sell Super Bowl tickets to us,” said Loftus.
Be wary of scams as well. Lotus reiterates if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.
