TOWN OF ALTO, WI (WTAQ) – A man was killed in a head-on crash in Fond du Lac County on Monday night.
It happened around 5:45 p.m. on County Highway AW and Oak Grove Road in the Town of Alto.
Police say an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle head-on.
The eastbound vehicle was driven by a 57-year-old Waupun man. He was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
A 52-year-old Waupun woman was driving the westbound vehicle. She suffered serious injuries.
There were two passengers in her vehicle. A 17-year-old Waupun teen was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
A 23-year-old Waupun man died at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
