APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Appleton police say a woman is hospitalized following an alleged physical assault early Sunday.
Police were called at 4:40 a.m. to 500 E. Winnebago Street for a reported assault on a sidewalk. The victim was found to have serious injuries to her face and head.
Officials say the suspect has not been identified and a description is unavailable due to the victim’s condition.
The public is asked to be on the lookout and report any suspicious activity as detectives continue to investigate.
