MOSINEE, WI (WSAU) — Sen. Ron Johnson continued on the campaign trail Friday. Johnson stopped at Crystal Finishing Systems in Mosinee. He was joined there by Speaker Paul Ryan. Ryan continued his support of Johnson by explaining to the crowd that there are two different types of people when it comes to public office.
“There are be-ers and there are doers,” said Ryan. “There are show horses and there are work horses. Russ Feingold is a show horse. I’ve watched Ron Johnson when no one else is watching. This is a man of integrity. This is a man of character. This is a man who works hard on behalf of everybody here in Wisconsin.”
The latest Wisconsin poll shows that Johnson and Russ Feingold are nearly neck and neck.
Johnson’s bus tour continued throughout Wisconsin with stops in Wisconsin Rapids and La Crosse.
