OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Parents who left their four-year-old child home alone so they could take part in what police described as a “clown gag” were both convicted on Tuesday.
Jennifer Conery pled no contest to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, according to online court records. Conery’s resisting charge was dropped. She owes the court $705.
Bryce Cook pled no contest to a charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was fined $200. With court costs and assessments figured in, Cook owes the court $705.
Back on October 7, Menasha police were called to the area of Appleton and Midway roads for a report of people wearing clown masks and chasing vehicles. During the investigation, officer learned the couple had left their child at home for at least several hours while they took part in the prank.
