GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Charges have been filed against an 18-year-old for allegedly bringing a BB gun to Green Bay West High School this week.
Brandon Latimore is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon at a school and resisting or obstructing an officer.
On Tuesday, school officials say a student reported having seen a BB gun near the school at Fisk Park.
Students were interviewed by school officials who learned the gun was brought on school property in a backpack by a non-West High School student.
The BB gun remained in the backpack and was not a threat to students, officials say. Eventually, the BB gun was found on private property.
