One of the most ridiculous, and dangerous, arguments made by the left is that poverty is the root cause of terrorism. Secretary of State John Kerry has made that claim. Liberals will try to blame any ill on income inequality, but this is absurd even for them.
And now we have the numbers to prove it:
But a new World Bank study on ISIS recruits shows that Kerry's claim isn't true. “This result is consistent with a number of other studies that come to a similar conclusion: poverty is

a driver of radicalization into violent extremism,” according to the World Bank.
Not that this will convince anyone on the left.
