GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The spookiest holiday of the year is less than 30 days away and many folks are thinking about what costumes will pack the most punch.
Halloween Express in Green Bay is a popular place to get the best disguises of 2016.
Employee Jered Rogers says some of the hottest getups might surprise you.
“For adults we’ve been seeing a lot of comic book characters. That’s just been really popular. And then for kids you might see something like these “Paw Patrol” things over here, other cartoon characters, animals, are flying off the shelves.”
The Harlely Quinn costume, from the Suicide Squad movie, is the most popular among females and creepy clowns are the top pick for men.
Rogers says it’s better to make your selection early, as the store gets busier.
“As the day goes on more and more people are coming in. My roommate is an employee here also and he’s been saying that as the week has gone on, more and more people have been coming in.”
But he says there’s still time to get what you want and even he’s not sure what he’s be on October 31.
“I haven’t given it much thought yet…but maybe a clown. They’re really popular,” says Rogers.
