MISHICOT, WI (WTAQ) – A 59-year-old man from California is dead after a crash in Manitowoc County.
It happened Monday around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of State Street and Main Street in the Village of Mishicot.
Officials say Irvin Hamilton, of San Diego, was driving a car on State St. when he didn’t stop at a stop sign.
The car was then hit by a semi traveling on Main Street.
Hamilton died at the scene.
A passenger in the car was taken to a hospital.
The semi driver was not hurt.
The road was shut down for several hours.
