GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay police are releasing more details about a murder last week.
Officials have identified the suspects as 21-year-olds Atlas Watson and David Tatum. Both made their initial appearances in Brown County court Monday afternoon and are charged with being party to first-degree intentional homicide.
Watson and Tatum each had their bonds set at $1 million cash. Watson returns to court October 11 for the balance of his initial appearance, while Tatum is due back in court October 12.
Police say Watson and Tatum are accused of shooting and killing 21-year-old Zachary Boose on Lime Kiln Road Thursday night.
According to investigators, Boose recently moved to Green Bay from Detroit. He had an ongoing dispute with Watson and Tatum outside his apartment complex. After the shooting, both suspect ran away.
Tatum later showed up to the Green Bay Police Department looking for someone else. Officers took him in for questioning, initially believing he was a witness. They eventually learned that Tatum was involved. Police are requesting a charge of being a party to first-degree intentional homicide.
On Friday morning, Watson was taken into custody at an apartment complex on Humboldt Road. A SWAT team was involved in the search. Police are seeking of first-degree intentional homicide against Watson.
