MANITOWOC COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – The cause of a basement fire at a home west of Manitowoc is under investigation.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to a home on S. Alverno Road in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids around 6:40 a.m. Friday.
Everyone who was inside the home got out safely.
Investigators are looking into what may have caused the fire, which brought out several fire departments.
