DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – A dog and cat were rescued from a duplex fire in De Pere Friday.
Crews were dispatched to a fire at 990 Aldrin Street just after 3:00 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews noticed heavy smoke coming from a second floor window of the east half of the duplex.
The fire was under control within 20 minutes of crews arriving.
No people were inside the home at the time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Officials say the fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damage.
