OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A woman is in the hospital after an assault in Oshkosh.
Oshkosh Police say the woman was with a man she met Tuesday night when they say he assaulted her inside her apartment.
The woman wasn’t able to call 911, so she started to throw her belongings out a window to get attention.
She also tied a rope to the window and was considering using that as an escape.
However, someone did call 9-1-1 and rescue crews got to her.
She has non-life threatening injuries and remains in the hospital.
A man is in custody.
