GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Police are trying to figure out who shot at a duplex on Green Bay’s east side and why.
The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. Aug. 15 at 115 N. Clay St., according to authorities.
Officers found 11 shell casings around the building. They also found that several rounds had gone into both the upper and lower units.
Police say small children were inside the lower unit at the time of the shooting. The upper unit was unoccupied.
Witnesses said they saw two black males running away from the area at the time of the shooting, but the witnesses were not able to give a more detailed description.
