KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a fire in Kaukauna.
The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home on West 4th Street.
Flames were seen coming from a bedroom window. Firefighters helped two people out of the home.
The residents were taken to the hospital and treated for possible smoke inhalation.
The fire started in the bedroom, but the cause is still under investigation.
It’s estimated the fire caused about $50,000 in damage.
