DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – Police are investigating a domestic incident involving a father and son in De Pere.
Officers say it happened Friday at 4:24 p.m. at a home in the 500 block of N. Erie Street.
The 31-year-old son went to the home of his dad and a physical altercation occurred. During the fight, the son was shot in the leg by his father in self-defense.
The son was treated and released from the hospital.
Police say the son was taken to the Brown County Jail and charges of battery and suffocation will be requested. He will likely appear in court on Monday.
