CANTON, OH (WTAQ) – It’s been a special weekend for Green Bay Packers leged Brett Favre.
Joining him in celebrating Favre’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday night were fans who traveled to Canton, Ohio to witness this historic moment.
“This is the guy this is the guy that turned it all around and help with organization back on the map to where it is today this is a huge day,” Packers fan Rick Steele told FOX 11.
“To have a winner like that they won the Super Bowl with Brett I was at every home game preseason postseason and even the return to title town,” said Packers fan Nick Brandl.
“I think it’s exciting that was a huge part of putting the Packers back on the map. You got a look at how Lambeau Field has changed and Packers fans gratitude for what he did for us,” said Packers fan Greg Nygaard.
Favre will be honored with a halftime ceremony during the Packers October 16th game against the Dallas Cowboys.
