GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a town hall at the KI Convention Center in downtown Green Bay on Friday.
His campaign website says it will be at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m. It also says Trump will be joined by his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence.
“Wisconsin is in play, also Brown County is very crucial and we’ve always known that,” says Republican Party of Brown County chairwoman Marian Krumberger. “We know that he will do well, he will win Brown County. But we need to have a very good turnout and a really strong showing for him to take the state of Wisconsin.”
It’s his first visit to Wisconsin since before April’s primary. Trump lost that primary election to Texas Senator Ted Cruz. Krumberger believes getting the support from both Governor Scott Walker and House Speaker Paul Ryan will be a boost for Trump.
