Players pulled into the parking lot and hauled their suitcases and CD players into dormitory rooms at McCormick Hall on the St. Norbert College campus Sunday, check in day for the 2016 Green Bay Packers training camp.
Rookie Blake Martinez, the Stanford Linebacker, said it reminded him of his college days. He didn’t think is was a coincidence that rookies had to lug their gear to the third floor rooms. Ground level rooms were reserved for the veterans.
After getting settled in, the players will head to Lambeau Field today for phsyicals and testing.
The first practice of training camp will be Tuesday morning at 8:15 AM on Ray Nitschke Field.
