APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Firefighters in Appleton were called to a house fire early Sunday morning.
Appleton Fire Department officials went to a home in the 3100 block of N. Durkee Street.
The fire started in the basement and caused smoke damage to the home’s basement and first floor.
3 people were able to get out safely. One was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
