Wisconsin Public Service says more than 9,000 utility customers are in the dark as of 2 p.m. Officials say they’re dealing with numerous downed tree limbs, along with broken power poles.
If you’re reporting a power outage, WPS is asking that you call (800) 450-7240. You should only use 911 for emergencies only.
They also warn people to stay away from downed power lines.
