WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a domestic-related shooting.
Deputies were called to the 5200 block of County Highway N in the Town of Utica at 7:03 a.m. Monday.
Officials found one person dead and another injured after a neighbor reported hearing gunshots. They also say three dogs were shot and killed.
The victims are a 36-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man. The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office says that the man died at the scene and the woman was taken to a nearby hospital.
Investigators say a boyfriend and girlfriend lived at the home. The public, they add, is not in any danger.
