TOWN OF PRINCETON, WI (WTAQ) – A head-on crash in Green Lake County Friday injures two drivers.
Authorities say it happened at the intersection of State Highway 23 and State Highway 73 and Pye Alley in the Town of Princeton at 9:10 a.m.
A truck pulling a boat was driving westbound on Highway 23 and turned south onto Highway 73 and into an eastbound SUV, officials say.
The driver of the SUV, a 68-year-old woman of Neshkoro, was trapped inside her vehicle and had to be extricated. She was flown from the scene with incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 38-year-old man of Green Lake, sustained possible injuries, but was not transported to the hospital from the scene.
Both State Highway 23 and State Highway 73 were reduced to one lane for two hours while crews cleared the crash.
