APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – The 8th Annual Butterfly Festival took place in Appleton on Saturday.
Hundreds attended the event in City Park, which allowed children to get up close and personal with butterflies.
In addition, families spent the day taking part in activities including crafts and games.
The event supports child abuse prevention in the Fox Cities.
It closed with the release of over 1,000 butterflies.
