GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Police arrested a man inside a home in Green Bay after a SWAT team was called Tuesday.
Authorities were called to the home in the 900 block of N. Chestnut Avenue just after 5:00 p.m.
The call to police was for a physical altercation between a man and a woman.
The woman reported to police she was struck with the butt of a handgun and had the gun pointed at her by the man.
Green Bay Police and the SWAT team surrounded the home the man was believed to be in.
Police say they removed about 15 people from the home when they arrived.
None of those people were involved with the confrontation.
Police say they recommending charges against the 40-year-old man with possession of a firearm by a felon, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, battery and disorderly conduct.
