GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Broadway Street in downtown Green Bay will soon be busy with thousands of people looking for the freshest produce around.
June 1 marks the beginning of many Wednesday night farmers markets.
Ahnna Dexter is project manager with On Broadway Inc. and says they’ve been planning for the event since last fall.
“Fresh food, fresh produce, fresh veggies, everything fresh that you love is going to be back at the farmers market. We also have some food vendors coming back.”
Dexter says they’re excited to partner with Kay Distributing for their beer this year.
“We will have Titletown Brewing, Hinterland, Stillmank, and Badger State will all be there with three or four of their own beers.”
The market will have 150 vendors to check out
“We cut back a bit on our vendors this year just because we wanted to make sure people had an opportunity to really be able to walk around and mingle,” says Dexter.
The Farmers Market On Broadway will take place from 3-8 p.m. every Wednesday all summer long.
