DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – Celebrate De Pere kicks off the Memorial Day weekend starting Saturday with plenty of activities for the whole family.
The fun starts at 11 a.m. in Voyager Park in East De Pere and goes through Monday at 5 p.m.
Jeff Tilkens is the entertainment director for the three day event and says it’s just $5 to get in before 7p.m. and $10 after that. He says there’s events for all age groups.
“We’ve got two stages of live entertainment running all weekend. Headlining we have Night Ranger on Saturday and Jana Kramer on Sunday night. We’ve got kids rides going all weekend. We’ve got a BMX stunt show Saturday at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., kids’ entertainment, and tons of food and beverages.”
Other events to check out are the Redneck Regatta on Saturday at 3 p.m. and fireworks later that night starting at 9:15 p.m.
“What’s cool about the fireworks this year is the 360 pyrotechnics display. We’re going to have some displays inside the park. So, the best place to see the fireworks is going to be in the parks in the bowl.”
