GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Drivers in downtown Green Bay will have to find a detour next week when the Wisconsin Department of Transportation closes two bridges over the Fox River for spring cleaning.
The Walnut Street Bridge will be closed on Wednesday from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. between Washington Street and Broadway, according to the Green Bay Public Works Department. Traffic will be re-routed to the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge via Broadway, Dousman Street, Main Street and Monroe Avenue.
On Thursday, the Donald Tilleman Bridge (Mason Street) will be closed from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. between Monroe Avenue and Ashland Avenue. Traffic will be re-routed to the Walnut Street Bridge via Ashland Avenue, Walnut Street and Monroe Street.
