UNDATED (WTAQ) – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, along with a Green Bay company, is issuing a statewide recall of some of its pasties.
Grammy’s Pasty’s says an undetermined amount of breakfast, chorizo and traditional pasties were not properly inspected prior to sale.
The pasties were sold at retail stores and wholesaled by distributors throughout the state before March 29, 2016.
The affected products have the Julian date of 88-16, 81-16, 74-16, 60-16, and 54-16 on the label or on the package.
No illnesses have been reported.
If anyone does show signs or symptoms of foodborne illness, they should contact a physician.
Consumers who have any of these products can return them to the original place of purchase or discard them.
