BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Multiple crashes in Brown County thanks to this snowy weather is causing traffic nightmares across the region.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department says there are several crashes on Interstate 41 near Freedom Road.
Authorities say there are no initial reports of serious injuries, but there are at least 3 separate crashes and several more cars in the ditch.
All northbound lanes of I-41 at County S are closed.
Drivers should consider avoiding I-41 south of Scheuring Road and north of Freedom Road – in both directions.
Meanwhile, part of the Leo Frigo Bridge in Green Bay was closed for about an hour after a crash on Interstate 43 at Atkinson Road. The Wisconsin DOT reports that as of 3:45 p.m., the southbound lanes of I-43 had re-opened.
