HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) – The Brown County Sheriff’s Department says a person came forward Thursday in connection with a hit-and-run crash in Howard.
Based on the information investigators have, they believe it is the person who was driving the vehicle during the hit and run.

A hit-and-run driver is being sought by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say an SUV broke a 15-year-old boy’s leg after hitting him in the 2000 block of Velp Avenue in Howard around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The boy’s foot was also run over as the driver did not stop.
According to the boy’s father on Thursday, his injuries were not life-threatening.
The SUV is described as an olive green Kia Soul with tinted windows. It’s possible the driver was unaware of the incident, the sheriff’s office says.
