NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) – One man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Neenah credit union Wednesday.
According to Neenah police, a man reportedly went into the Capital Credit Union on S. Commercial Street at 11:37 a.m. and demanded money.
Authorities say the man made threatening statements, but no one saw a weapon. After grabbing an undisclosed amount of money, he fled on foot.
No one was injured.
Shortly thereafter, a 23-year-old Neenah man with an outstanding warrant was taken into custody.
Officials say further investigation identified the man as the suspect of the robbery. Key evidence and the amount of money believed to have been taken was recovered from the man, police say.
The investigation is ongoing.
