ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities say thirty-eight people have been arrested Tuesday as part of a months-long meth distribution investigation.
According to a release by the Brown County Drug Task Force, 20 locations across the region were searched by a team of 100 local, state and federal agents.
14 of those were in Green Bay, with one each in Bellevue, Howard, Suamico, Ashwaubenon, Kewaunee County and Oconto County.
Drug Task Force officials say Tuesday’s news release was, “in response to several media inquiries concerning activities by the drug task force earlier today.”
Many of the people arrested are expected to appear in court Wednesday.
Authorities say they plan to release more information later this week.
