GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Officials tore down the former Carlton Inn and Patrick’s on the Bay Restaurant in Green Bay on Monday.
The site will be the future home of the Sunset Inn. It will be a 17,000-square-foot bed and breakfast, featuring 10 suites on Nicolet Drive.
Co-owner Corey Capwell hopes to open up the Sunset Inn a year from now.
“We just want to do it right, take our time and make sure it is built correctly and everybody’s happy with it,” Capwell told FOX 11. “We don’t want to skimp on anything if we can help it.”
Officials expect to lay the foundation by early fall.
The owners plan to re-purpose old items from the building that was demolished.
