ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – A woman is due in court later this month after she was caught in a drug bust and identified as the supplier of crack and heroin.
39-year-old Jaime P. Multhauf is charged with five counts, including possession of narcotic drugs and felony bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, members of the Brown County Drug Task Force learned of drug use going on at an Ashwaubenon apartment on February 12.
Five people were inside that apartment when agents entered around 3:10 p.m. that day.
Agents uncovered about 100 unused 1ml syringes with orange capped needles on them. These needles, according to authorities, are commonly used by drug users because they’re given out by the needle exchange for free, along with rubber arm ties and tin cups used as cookers.
Based upon the amount of needles and syringes in this apartment, authorities believed the dwelling is rented and operated for the, “Purpose of users to inject or use their controlled substance in a concealable location.” One or two people, authorities say, would not possess the vast amounts of needles found by themselves.
Multhauf was found by one of the agents with a clear plastic baggie which contained two pills, one round pink pill with the imprint “COR 136” and one round orange pill with the imprint “AN415”. Agents say that typically people don’t keep their own prescriptions in plastic baggies in their jean pockets. The pills were identified as Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine and Buprenorphine/Naloxone.
Also found during a search of the apartment were:
- A silver key chain container with trace amounts of a brown rock-like substance which was heroin
- Digital scales commonly used to weigh controlled substances before selling drugs
- Silver tin cups commonly used to mix and heat up controlled substances like heroin
- Large glass beakers which is used to either evaporate crack cocaine, or mix cocaine with other substances and then heat up the beaker to create crack cocaine.
- White powdery substance inside a large glass beaker which was cocaine
- Skinny glass pipes with burnt ends commonly used to smoke crack cocaine.
- Syringes pre-filled with water or saline solution used to mix with heroin in tin cups for dissolving heroin, then re-fill the syringes
- Vials of naloxone (Narcan)
- Clear plastic gem baggie containing a white crystal-like substance which was meth
The man whose name is listed on the apartment lease was interviewed by agents. He was asked if anyone else lives in the apartment with him, he replied, “No, but they stay over every once in a while.”
Specifically, that man told agents that Multhauf has lived with him, “On-and-off for eight months.” He also admitted to using crack cocaine and heroin which he buys from Multhauf.
Jaime Multhauf violated conditions of her bond, which was set in November 2015 after being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Multhauf is due back in court March 18 on these five charges. Before that, Multhauf will be in court March 11 on two counts of retail theft.
