NORTH FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Police in North Fond du Lac say they’re investigating a suspicious incident involving a middle school student and a stranger who offered him a ride.
Police say the boy was waiting for his mom to pick him up from school around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, when a large white van coming out of Horace Mann High School stopped. The driver, a male, asked the boy if he wanted a ride home.
The boy said no and began to run away. He slipped and fell on some ice, and the driver again offered the boy a ride. When the boy declined again, the van left, heading east on McKinley Street.
North Fond du Lac police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to call them at (920) 906-5555.
