MENASHA, WI (WTAQ) – UPDATE — Menasha police say that Delores Hornig has been found safe by family members, according to a post on their Facebook page.

Menasha police are asking the public for help finding a missing 80-year-old woman.
Police say Delores Hornig did not show up to pick up a friend as scheduled Thursday. She was supposed to pick up the friend in Menasha and go to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, but Hornig never made it to either location.
Hornig has early-stage dementia and Type 2 diabetes. Relatives told police that Hornig didn’t take her medication Thursday morning and does not have it with her.
Her family last heard from Dolores at 7:15 a.m. Thursday.
Hornig is driving a maroon four-door 2000 Buick Century Ltd. Her license plate number is 464-NWE.

Menasha police say they are working on issuing a Silver Alert for Hornig.
