FREEDOM, WI (WTAQ) – An explosion at a business fire in the Freedom area Wednesday has forced part of Highway S to close.
According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department, the blast happened around 10 a.m. at W1558 Highway S.
Authorities closed Highway S at Weyers Road to the west of the scene for several hours while the fire was being put out. The road re-opened around 2 p.m.
