APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Police in Appleton are looking for any witnesses during an attempted robbery on the city’s east side Friday.
Authorities say a person walked into the Taco Ball, 3221 Express Ct, just before 4 p.m.
The person, whose face was covered, went up to the counter and announced a robbery. Then, the person turned around and left the store without any money. It’s not clear why the suspect did that.
The suspect didn’t show any weapons. He’s described as white, about 6′ tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information or who was in the restaurant at the time is asked to call Sgt. Gleiss at (920) 832-5516. Anonymous tips can be sent by text message with the keyword APDTIPS to 274637.
