Grand Chute, WI (WTAQ) – One person is in custody while another remains on the loose after an armed robbery in Grand Chute.
Theodore Thompson is looking at several charges, including robbery with the threat of force.
Police say Thompson and another man demanded money and threatened the victim with a knife at an apartment around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The suspects then forced the man to drive them to the Super Pantry on W. Spencer Street in Grand Chute.
The suspects wanted the victim to get them money from an ATM but that didn’t happen.
The victim was then able to hide in a bathroom. He suffered minor injuries.
Thompson and the other man left the store in the victim’s vehicle.
Thompson was taken into custody at a nearby apartment, while the other managed to get away.
Police don’t have a description of the suspect to pass along yet.
Thompson is being held on a $25,000 cash bail.
